Apple conducted its much awaited event of the year yesterday at its Cupertino headquarters. Fans were waiting for the Apple event October 2021 for a long time and Apple came up with some great news in its Unleashed event. Live streaming of the event was done on Apple’s official website and also on its YouTube channel.
MacBook Pro
Major product that was disclosed in the event was the new MacBook Pro. There are two variants to it – 14-inch and 16-inch. HDMI, SD card ports, headphone jack, MagSafe charger, Thunderbolt ports have been added back to the device so it will be pretty smooth for the users. MagSafe 3 charging powered in the new MacBook Pro will provide for fast charging. It will be featured by a stunning Liquid Retina XDR display.
The new Mac is powered by the new M1 Pro and M1 Pro Max chipset which will add great performance to the device. It will be an advanced version of the M1 architecture. Talking about the configurations of the chipset, both of them have a 10-core CPU. M1 Pro has 16-core GPU and M1 Pro Max has 32-core GPU which will allow users to do a lot more than they could do earlier. There is up to 32GB of unified memory with M1 Pro and up to 64GB of unified memory with M1 Pro Max.
One of the best parts of the new MacBook Pros is that it will be featuring up to 120Hz refresh rates; thanks to ProMotion, Apple’s technology for adaptive refresh rate. There is a top notch on this design which makes it different from the earlier models. The front-end camera is hosted on this top notch.
The 14” inch model will provide you 17 hours of video playback and 11 hours wireless web browsing as claimed by the company. Whereas the 16” inch model will provide you 21 hours of video playback and 14 hours wireless web browsing. Isn’t that super-amazing !! Advanced thermal system will keep the device cool and the interesting part is the fans won’t even need to start for the normal tasks you do daily.
Pre-ordering for the device has started and the pricing of the 14-inch model starts at $1,999 and the 16-inch model starts at $2,499.
AirPods 3
Another product showcased was the new AirPods 3 with sweat and water-resistant capacity. It has a completely new design and comes with Spatial audio. A faster charging mechanism will boost up the airpods in a single charge and you will be listening to your favorite playlist for long-long hours. It creates a 3d listening experience such that you feel sound coming from all directions and making you believe you are in a concert. Another very interesting technology that the AirPods will be hosting is the Adaptive EQ. The purpose of this technology is to automatically tune music to the shape of your ear. The frequencies of the sound will be automatically adjusted and a rich detailed sound will be delivered to your ears in real time. Amazing noise cancellation techniques will provide you the right experience you need for your conference calls.
Its pricing will be $179.
New Color Options for Homepod Mini
Another thing showcased were the new color options – yellow, orange and blue for the speaker – HomePod mini. Its pricing will remain the same as it is now ($99) and will be available from November.
Earlier, this speaker used to be in white and black colors but the addition of the three new bright colors will make your room look great both with sound and color. A new Music Voice Plan has been launched at this Apple event of October. The purpose of this is to allow users to access Apple Music with Siri. Its pricing will be $4.99 per month.
