The company says that technology is tearing apart our common reality and truth and is constantly shredding our attention. It is making impossible for us to focus on other issues like climate change, poverty, and polarization. Nobody wants technology like that, means we all want to be on the same team: Team Humanity for realigning technology for the best interests of humanity.

All these things impact our mental health very much. The race for keeping us on screen 24/7 makes it even harder for us to disconnect, reduce the sleep and increase anxiety, stress, and tension in our lives. This race for attention is eroding the base, the pillars of our human society.

The children’s mental health is disturbing a lot and they seek out for Facebook likes and constantly compare themselves with each other seeing the photos put on the social media. They constantly feel that something is missing out in their life if they are forced to stay without the games, smartphones, the internet or the social media by their parents.

This awareness created by the Centre for Humane Technology is for the welfare of the human society and we should think in this direction for our own welfare.
